Overview
The SMART2 GNSS smart antenna from NovAtel, which integrates an antenna and OEM receiver in a single housing, can track GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS signals, while optional multi-constellation tracking improves robustness and position availability when sky conditions are obstructed. The impact of ionospheric disturbances are minimized with dual-frequency tracking, thus enhancing field productivity further.
SMART2 is also able to receive L-Band signals to provide easy access to the world-wide TerraStrar-C and TerraStar-L correction signals, available with a subscription. SMART2 provides 15 cm pass-to pass with TerraStar-L, and 3 cm pass-to-pass accuracy with TerraStar-C.
The SMART2 effectively eliminates costly hardware replacements when user requirement changes, as subscriptions and upgrades can be applied directly in the field. Optional GLIDE technology provides exceptional pass-to-pass accuracy and ultra-smooth positioning, ideally suited for auto-steer and manual guidance applications.
The SMART2 improves auto-steer and guidance performance on slopes and uneven terrain by correcting for vehicle roll and pitch with optional integrated Terrain Compensation. To simplify integration with tablets and other Bluetooth-enabled devices, SMART2 is available with optional Bluetooth technology that provides wireless connectivity. This helps in the development of mapping and guidance applications.
Fixed mounting is available while built-in magnets simplify mounting.

Warranty
NovAtel products come with a one-year warranty. The warranty, provided by NovAtel, covers any product which does not materially conform to NovAtel’s specifications or that is significantly defective in materials or workmanship, for a period of 12 months from the date of shipment. Accessories come with a similar 90-day warranty. NovAtel’s Extended Warranty Program provides the option to increase the duration of the warranty by an additional 12 or 24 months.
