Overview
The BX940 triple frequency GNSS receiver combines Trimble’s expertise in the inertial technology and GNSS markets to deliver a solution for applications that need continuous centimeter accuracy in a compact rugged package. Inertial sensors have been integrated in the same module, thus producing robust, high accuracy positions in all environments.
The receiver is also ideal for use as a GNSS DGPS/RTK base station.
The BX940 supports triple frequency GPS/GLONASS, as well as dual frequency BeiDou/Galileo offering the most reliable and quickest RTK initializations for 1–2 cm positioning. If cm accuracy is not required, high accuracy DGNSS and GNSS positions are delivered in the most challenging environments by the integrated GNSS-Inertial engine.
The BX940 is available in different configurations, including a DGPS L1 unit and a 4 constellation triple frequency RTK unit. This enables you to select the receiver that suits your application and budget. Functionality can be upgraded with password-upgradeable features when requirements change.
The BX940 can utilize OmniSTAR or RTX services to deliver different levels of performance without the use of a base station – even up to cm level.
The unit is housed in an environmentally sealed enclosure that is simple to install. Each unit is tested rigorously to ensure that it will perform in harsh environments.
