The Stonex S580 mobile GNSS receiver is both light and compact, but also high performing with centimeter-level accuracy. The S580 is a dual-frequency receiver that tracks all current satellite signals (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS).

Overview
Compared to traditional GIS products, the Stonex S580 mobile GNSS receiver is an intelligent, high precision data acquisition receiver that can be worn or mounted to a pole, offering great flexibility and freedom of movement.
The S580 can communicate with an external device such as tablet, smartphone or PC through Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Thanks to the internal web interface, or through the Cube-connector app, the receiver can be configured to receive RTK differential corrections and be connected to any survey or GIS software.
The rubber protective cover makes in non-slip and increases the durability of the device. The S580 meets IP67 dust/waterproof standards and is designed to endure to a 1.2 m drop on concrete floor with no damage to the device.
The S580 has been designed as a RTK rover receiver to receive differential corrections from a network. However, thanks to the Stonex SR02 external radio, the receiver can also receive RTK corrections from a base that transmits them via UHF radio modem in the 410-470 MHz frequencies.
The SR02 external radio receives corrections from the base station and transmits them to the S580 via Bluetooth. This feature allows the S580 receiver to receive (and transmit) RTK corrections and with this capability, the receiver can be used as base and/or as rover. This configuration is an excellent and complete low-cost solution.
