Description

Overview

The Quanta Series from SBG Systems offers INS and GNSS solutions designed for both land and air applications. Featuring centimeter level positioning, these solutions eliminate the need for Ground Control Points (GCP). The precise position and orientation also reduce processing time.

The Quanta Series of products contain high quality accelerometers and gyroscopes factory calibrated from -40 °C to +85 °C. They also utilize an RTK GNSS receiver to provide centimeter level positioning. The internal Extended Kalman Filter fuses GNSS and data for high performance, even in the most challenging conditions.

The Quanta Series brings direct geo-referencing to UAVs with the smallest form factor. These products geotag your point cloud precisely and directly. Both Quanta models embed a data logger for post processing. Qinertia post-processing software enhances SBG INS performance by post processing inertial data with raw GNSS observables.

While a single antenna solution tends to be more practical, the dual antenna mode allows a more precise heading for low dynamics flights (pipes or electrical lines surveys).

Quanta Micro

Quanta Micro is a GNSS aided Inertial Navigation System designed for space constrained applications (OEM package).

Based on a survey grade IMU featuring a temperature calibration from -40°C to +85°C, and from a cutting edge multi-frequency, multi-constellation GNSS receiver, the Quanta Micro delivers outstanding performance for such a small device.

  • Roll/pitch 0.015°, Heading 0.035° (PPK)
  • Roll/pitch 0.02°, Heading 0.06° (RTK)
  • RTK/PPK position performance : 1cm
  • Survey grade IMU with temperature compensation (0.8°/h class)
  • Highly versatile : automotive, airborne and marine motion profiles included
  • 5cm heave for marine applications

Quanta Plus

Quanta Plus combines a tactical MEMS IMU with a high-performance GNSS receiver to get reliable position and attitude, even in harshest GNSS environments.

Its miniature OEM form factor and stellar performance make it ideal for mapping applications such as UAV dedicated to surveying or mobile mapping.

Quanta Plus also benefits from easy integration within our post-processing software: Qinertia.

  • Roll/pitch 0.015°, Heading 0.04° (RTK)
  • Roll/pitch 0.01°, Heading 0.03° (PPK)
  • RTK/PPK position performance: 1cm
  • High resilience to harsh GNSS environments
  • Post-Processing with Qinertia PPK Software

Quanta Extra

Quanta Extra embeds high-end gyroscopes and accelerometers in the most compact form factor. It also integrates an RTK GNSS receiver providing a centimetric position.

  • High-end INS/GNSS in a ultra compact form factor
  • 8 GB Data logger for post-processing
  • Low-power consumption
  • Datalogger for post-processing
  • Web interface
