Description

Overview

p>The Ellipse2-E from SBG Systems is a miniature high performance sensor designed for Inertial Navigation Systems. It provides the computing capacity for navigational data when it connects to external GNSS receivers. The sensor weighs approximately 50 grams.

This lightweight sensor works on Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) and includes a MEMS-based Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) to provide accurate real time orientation and navigation data (DMI, RTM, etc). It is basically a real time fusion of inertial, GNSS and aiding data. It has the capability to reject false GPS measurement data.

The Ellipse2-E a versatile device suitable for Air, Land and Marine transportation applications and provides accurate navigation results regardless of medium that it is used in.
