Overview
The NovAtel SMART7-S enables access to multiple GNSS signals allowing for better satellite availability under variable environmental and terrain conditions. The SMART7-S also receives L-Band signals to access TerraStar’s global correction signals.
The SPAN technology tightly couples the inertial measurements with GNSS to improve position accuracy, bridge GNSS outages, provides attitude information and terrain compensation.
The SMART7-S provides a range of performance accuracies from full centimeter level RTK to dual-frequency GLIDE. TerraStar services, using globally transmitted satellite corrections, provide decimeter or centimeter level accuracy.
Users requiring wireless solutions for smartphones and tablets can use the SMART7-W Wi-Fi and an integrated NTRIP client to establish connectivity via cellular gateways and Wi-Fi. The SMART7-I model also features Ethernet that allows easy connectivity to wired IP devices and networks.
This rugged SMART7-S antenna is enclosed in a durable, waterproof enclosure that meets MIL-STD-810G environmental standards and will provide many years of reliable field use. Both screw and magnetic mounting is supported. The SMART7-S supports RS-232 and CAN-bus communications.
NovAtel ALIGN technology is optionally supported when combined with a second NovAtel receiver or SMART7-S to provide relative velocity and heading that can be used to guide accessory vehicles.

Warranty
NovAtel products come with a one-year warranty. The warranty, provided by NovAtel, covers any product which does not materially conform to NovAtel’s specifications or that is significantly defective in materials or workmanship, for a period of 12 months from the date of shipment. Accessories come with a similar 90-day warranty. NovAtel’s Extended Warranty Program provides the option to increase the duration of the warranty by an additional 12 or 24 months.
