Hemisphere Vector V104 GPS Compass
Hemisphere GNSS has announced that the Vector V104 GPS Compass has reached End-of-Life (EOL). Hemisphere GNSS recommends the Vector V200 GNSS Compass as a suitable replacement.
Description
Overview
Hemisphere GNSS’ V104 GPS Compass offers an affordable and accurate heading and position-based antenna by utilizing Satellite-based augmentation system (SBAS), including the wide area augmentation systems (WAAS), the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service, the Multi-functional Satellite Augmentation System, etc. for one of the highest variances in GPS positioning. This sturdy and inconspicuousness enclosure integrates the Hemisphere’s Crescent Vector technology and a dual multiple-path resilient antenna for added precision and convenience. This resourceful antenna is compact, measuring almost 20 inches long and attaches effortlessly to a level surface and/or a pole.
The Crescent Vector technology, which includes the V104’s two GPS antennas, has a multiple-axis gyro and tilt sensor that is built into a very user-friendly system. The V104 GPS Compass’s twin antenna system delivers both heading and position information, and the gyro and tilt sensor improves the overall system performance and provides backup heading data if the GPS-based heading is ever missing.
This Crescent technology delivers exceedingly precise and exceptional multi-path mitigation, producing guaranteed accuracy and solidity, which permits the user to connect the V104 in spaces where rival products have trouble.
This innovative GPS provides either serial or NMEA2000 communications and is perfect to use for an extensive collection of applications, particularly in the following fields: marine, machine control fields and GIS Mapping.
Features
- Exceptional in-band and out-of-band interference rejection
- 2 deg heading accuracy
