Hemisphere GNSS has announced that the Vector V102 GPS Compass has reached End-of-Life (EOL) Hemisphere GNSS recommends the Vector V200 GNSS Compass as a suitable replacement.
Description
Overview
The Vector V102 GPS Compass from Hemisphere GNSS delivers reliable and accurate positioning and heading information. It utilizes SBAS (Satellite Based Augmentation Systems) differential GPS positioning, which allows the V102 to offer an affordable and effective position and heading solution.
The rugged enclosure of the V102 incorporates Hemisphere GPS innovative Crescent Vector II OEM technology and two antennas that are multipath-resistant to provide portability, accuracy, as well as easy installation. The antenna can be mounted to a pole or a flat surface.
Hemisphere GPS COAST technology allows the V102 smart antenna to use previously collected differential correction data to provide sub-meter positioning for 40 minutes at times of signal interferences or when no differential signal is available. Furthermore, the V102s built-in gyro and tile sensors are capable of delivering fast start-up times and continuous updates even when GPS signals are lost temporarily.
