Overview

The NV08C Mini PCIe Module from NVS Technologies is a fully integrated GNSS receiver board. It becomes a practical COM port when connected to a host systems PCIe. The COM port controls receiver settings and functions.

The unit is compatible with COMPASS (GNSS), EGNOS, GAGAN (SBAS), GALILEO, GLONASS, GPS, MSAS and WAAS signals. It was especially conceived of for use with many computer-based timing, positioning and navigation devices equipped with a Mini-PCIe interface.

It is delivered with a USB driver so that it can transmit BINR or NMEA format data. The NV08C provides differential and assisted GNSS functions, NMEA and raw data output, high performance tracking and acquisition and high sensitivity.

Applications include mobile computing (portable and in-vehicle terminals), rugged notebooks (handheld computers, tablets and PCs), telematics (marine navigation and fleet management equipment), surveillance (public safety and security equipment), precise positioning (agriculture, machine control, survey and GIS).
