Description
Overview
The NV08C-CSM GNSS receiver module from NVS Technologies is a GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and SBAS satellite navigation receiver. It is the ideal solution where low cost and minimal power use must be combined with top performance.
The unit was developed for use in various LBS and M2M applications including automobile and personal navigation and tracking, fleet management, surveillance and security systems, anti-theft systems and base station time synchronization (for CDMA, GSM, WiFi and WiMAX).
The NV08C-CSM provides high performance and sensitivity of GNSS signal reception and tracking. It also supports advanced power saving modes and assisted GALILEO/GLONASS/GPS. Separate channels for GLONASS and GPS deliver less noise in environments with high interference levels, such as industrial areas, cities and railway stations.
Compared with single-constellation systems, the GNSS multiple satellite constellation provides excellent access to navigation systems in urban environments. Optionally, a small GNSS receiver can be integrated into a system.
